Our Story
Florida Elevator Waterproofing Co. was founded in 2005 by Robert Castillo, a licensed waterproofing contractor who spent a decade watching general contractors misdiagnose elevator water intrusion problems — and watching building owners pay twice when the first fix failed.
Robert's insight was straightforward: elevator waterproofing in Florida is a specialty. The state's high water table, hurricane exposure, and aging building stock create conditions that demand specific materials, specific techniques, and specific experience. A contractor who does it occasionally can't develop that expertise.
Today, Florida Elevator Waterproofing Co. employs a team of 18 certified technicians and has completed more than 1,400 projects across 12 Florida counties. We remain exclusively focused on elevator waterproofing — it's what we know, and it's what we do best.
